Should your prosperity deviate you from your path, you won't receive it. We are going to be successful when we no longer care about it, when the prosperity is not our God, and when we are ready to multiply that prosperity for the good of His kingdom.
Remember the comparison/ "parable" of the talents. To whom much is given, much is required, a lot still has to produce. If Elohim gives us lots of prosperity, he hopes that also produce many good fruits.
Money is neither good nor bad: it is neutral, it is a means to do other things. But if we believe that the money is an end in itself, and that is very good to have it by itself, Elohim will not allow that we have it, because we are filled with the wrong concept.
We must see money as what it is: a means to another end than to be rich, or wasted in vain things. Many of us have the mistaken idea of money as an end in itself. Only when we look at it as a means to do good, and help others, then, and only then, Elohim is going to allow us to have it, to help the most needy and to do his will with what we provide.
Are you trying to be prosperous and nothing happens? It is because you have to change your ideas about prosperity and watch it with the eyes of Elohim and from your perspective and not from a human perspective that does not include Elohim.
As Ieshua says: "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they don't work nor do they spin; but I tell you, that even Shlomoh in all his glory was not dressed like one of them. And if the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is cast into the oven, Elohim dresses it like that, will he not do even much more for you, ye of little faith? Do not strive, therefore, saying: "What we will eat, or drink, or wear?" Because the gentiles seek all these things; but your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first the kingdom of Elohim and his righteousness and all these things shall be added. " (Matt. 6:25-34.)
The lilies of the field do not struggle to grow. They just do. Elohim has also given men everything he needs in the Garden of Eden, but when the man deviated from its path, he forgot that he wast just a man, and not an Elohim and so he lost everything.
Elohim said to him: "You shall eat your bread with the sweat of your face". The fallen men, we need to struggle to earn our bread, to be prosperous. So the more we resemble the original Adam, the closest we get to the Garden of Eden, that much easier it will be for us to succeed in earning our daily bread.
We are going to receive everything easily, like in the Garden of Eden, when we learn how to act as we did in the Garden of Eden: without questioning, with no hesitation, simply knowing who we are: men, and who is He: Elohim. Then, and only then we will be in the right path. And that everything, absolutely everything comes from Him and that we depend on Him.
During World War Two, the United States of America was having difficulties building boats fast enough as to have a good amount in little time, as they were sunk faster than they were built. So a very famous believer came into play, Edgar Kaiser, who was an Industry prodigy as well. The navy went to him so that he could help them solve a technical problem that would allow them to build a ship per day, nothing less. Kaiser prayed and kneeled for a few days and Elohim gave him an idea, Kaiser handed that idea to the navy and they startted to build a ship per day, something incredible to this day, in these times. Everything depended on Elohim, not of the navy or the believer, Edgar Kaiser. It relied on Elohim that trusted on His son and blessed him. As we were saying, EVERYTHING comes from HIM.
Elohim's prosperity does not depend on the economy of the country we reside in, not even the time of the year.
Elohim is the one holding the final call in our finances, not "the economy".
It says in the Teh. 1:3: “ Anything you do, will prosper”. Note that it says “anything”, not only something material. It's not just about finances, but anything we attempt to do, will prosper, because He is with us. Something that does not happen with those who don't know Him, as we mentioned early in this parashah, but are doing good financially for a limited time-very limited. For those of us who are with Him, “anything you do” means ANYTHING and not only our finances or our jobs!
There is a way to make all of our dreams and goals come true: is practicing the excelent ability of diligence. It says in Mishlei/”Prov.” 22:29: “Do you see a man diligent in his things? He will stand before kings”.
Thomas Edison, one of my youth heroes, ws one of the few people that practiced diligence the most. Almost four thousand different experiments to improve the light bulb, so that the carbon filament would last longer, in 1879, even though he wasn't the inventor as we were taught at school, but it was Humphry Davy in 1809.
¿Why do so few people practice diligence?
We all have qualities that are a part of human condition. These types of characteristics create our natural "engines", tendencies, strengths as well as weaknesses. Yet diligence is not one of them. Actually, the global characteristic of all mankind is to achieve BIG in little time. We desire everything we want as fast as we want it working the least as possible. That's human nature. We all have the tendency of leaning towards the shortest road with the least of resistance.
Thanks to Elohim, in spite of this natural tendency, we can decide to lead a path of greater effort and grow in diligence behind every matter or goal. And when a person develops this kind of diligence, it is possible to achieve tremendous levels of success in any significant area of life.
Diligence is often described as a persistent and laborious effort in achieveing something.
Diligence is working in something with persistance, besides working with intelligence. It means bringing the creative thought, the persistence, and in many cases, including other people in our work, as well as external resources to our work in order to achieve great success.
The true diligence consist in numerous qualities. This is why true diligence is extremely rare and hard to find. But you can start adhering these excellence qualities today and begin to develop the hability of diligence. And everyone can develop it. Prosperous results are possible when we have perfected the hability of diligence. We may use it in critical areas of our lives, in any task or goal to accomplish amazing results. We can use it to change careers that are not doing so good and turn them into great destinies; normal human relationships into extraordinary human relationships; and a business that is failing into a prosperous one.
Aquire the powerful ability of diligence and accomplish a life of greater and greater success and prosperity!
On the other hand, aside from OUR diligence, we must understand that everything we receive comes from Elohim as a gift: “So much elohim loved the world that He gave His only Son..." You cannot receive anything from Him if not through His mercy. He loves to give things to you! Like in our birthdays we open our presents to see what we got. Don't steal His joy trying to achieve what its His pleasure to gift us. Ieshua said: “Receive the Ruaj Ha Kodesh". Petros said: “Because the gift is for you, your children and everyone that's far away…"
¡Receive the prosperity that Elohim desires to give us with all His good heart, while we put the diligence that is required to fully receive it!
