ANTI-SEMITISM IN THE

CHURCH?

The puzzle of a Jewish Rabbi (He is called that overtly in four paragraphs), circumcised on the eighth day as the Torah (wrongly translated as “Law”) demands, born of a Jewish lineage which includes King David, and then, suddenly leading into what has historically evolved into a rabidly anti-semitic Christian Church deserves a closer look.

There are those who have had the courage and the open mindnedness to look hard into history and have come out—sorry it is to say--stripped of their faith in the Christian Jesus and call themselves now former Christian pastors. There also those (perhaps a majority), who are afraid to look, for their inquisitiveness might reveal to them a lot of mistakes in the translations of the Tanakh into the Christian “Old Testament” and even in the Renewed Covenant (“N.T.”)´s translations, and some unanswered questions regarding the origin of the Christian Church and its morphing—two centuries after the first Christian Fathers appeared (at the end of the First Century a.M) into a so-called Christian Church which worships idols, the Queen of Heaven, and “saints” and has turned historically against the very people from which supposedly their own Leader, Jesus, arose, even though He Himself said of His People, the Jews: “…for salvation comes from the Jews”.

This does NOT mean, of course, that “all Christians are anti-semitic”. Absolutely not. There are many, numbering surely in the hundred of thousands all over the world, as we call them, are “Zionist Christians”, who really love the Jewish People, and pray for “the peace of Jerusalem” every day in their prayers,  and for the conversion of the Jewish People all over the world, and we thank Elohim for them; but they are the exception to the rule.

And, there are those who could research, just as the former pastors did, but were helped by Elohim in their search, and thus came up with a starkly different picture of this historical evolution of the Messianic Jewish World Synagogue of Yeshua into what has become known as Christianity.

The Messianic Jewish Renewed Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua of the first century a.M. (after Mashiach) suffered its first derailing from its straight path when it turned into a Greek Gnostic idea as it emerged from the then prevailing Greek-dominated culture. Then, it was severed in two by the witch's ax of anti-Semitism in the first three centuries a.M.: i.e., its "Judaism" half was cut off; and then its remaining half, its "Messianic" part was also severed and substituted. By 321 a.M., the debris that was left of the Messianic Jewish Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua was officially substituted by an emblem of a worldwide Greco-Roman counterfeit religion-cum-empire.

As of 1517, it is slowly but surely being revived by Elohim, first via Protestantism, what we call "the First Reformation"; then through Pentecostalism, "the Second Reformation." Since circa 1970, it is being revived by Messianic Judaism II, "the Third Reformation" which is the recreation of the original, true Messianic Congregation of the Jewish Rabbi Yeshua of the first century a.M., which is called "Messianic Judaism I" in our articles and books.

             How did this first Century a.M. "Messianic Judaism I" drop both its Jewishness as well as its Messianic Jewish traits? ¡This is, indeed, the million-dollar question!

How and by what means did Gentile Christianity appear in its present manner, with its Jewish identity changed into a Christian one? What derailed the Elohim-given "Messianic Jewish Congregation I" from its straight path and bent it into this alien, Gentile theological Gothic-like cathedral we have today? The answer, as we will see, lies squarely on the shoulders of the so-called "Fathers of the Church" and their virulent strain of anti-Semitism.

                Is there indeed anti-Semitism in the Church today? As we will see, the answer is: Yes, it is here as always, everywhere. It is a plague, like AIDS, and it does not seem to be ebbing; on the contrary, the spiritual signs we are receiving point to a soon-to-come upsurge of anti-Semitism in the shape of a huge, worldwide wave of anti-Judaism which will shock the planet and will multiply present emigration rates to Israel tenfold on the part of Jews now living assimilated and comfortably in the Diaspora. (We wrote this article in 1997, and since then, a lot of things have happened, especially in the last few years to confirm this prophecy and to allow our readers to see it fulfilled, as this year, 2006, is passing.)

                 But what is anti-Semitism? Why does it exist at all? Why does it persist? More important yet, has it influenced our Church's theology? And if so, how? The problem of anti-Semitism is an ancient one. It has been with the world since before the Jewish Renewed movement was born in Israel during the Second Temple period. Egyptian priests, centuries before the Messiah came, were already preaching against the Jewish People. This issue continues with us throughout history, even to our own days.
It not only permeates the secular world but, sad to say, even the Church of the Jewish Messiah and Rabbi Yeshua. Explanations of anti-Semitism are as old as this disease of the spirit. We Jews do not understand it. The world does not understand it. The Church does not understand it. The Jewish Messianic Movement worldwide does not understand it either. It is here to stay and each of them draws their own conclusions. We will try to explain here what it is, why it exists, and how it has indeed influenced the Church in a very negative sense.

      ANTI-SEMITISM AS A WEAPON

             Just as Elohim /"God"* wishes for unity within the family among its members, so He longs for the Jewish Messianic Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua,  to be united in brotherly love with all believers, a.k.a. "the Christian Church" and for the nations to be united among themselves, led by His Chosen People, the Jews. And He wants the Jews to be united in our own national, Elohim-given homeland, the Land of Israel/Eretz Ysrael.. In "Deuteronomy"/Dvarim/Words 28:13 He wrote to the Jewish People, "Hashem will make you the head and not the tail. You will be above only and not beneath if you obey the commandments of Hashem your Elohim which I am giving you today, and are careful to keep them."

 Ha satan ("the adversary") wants exactly the opposite. He wants families to be broken, the Church to be divided, the nations to be at war with each other, and especially with all of them against the Jews and the Land of Israel. Elohim began with one family, Adam and Chavah/"Eve." So what did ha satan do? He tricked that first family and had them chased out of Paradise. The Elohim of Israel also began with one people, the nation of Israel, and had many of that nation being born again on the Biblical holiday of Pentecost/Shavu'ot circa 30 A.M.

           But since ha satan hates unity, because that makes his enemies stronger, bigger and therefore, more dangerous for him, he devised a strategy. What ha satan wanted was to substitute the Jewish Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua. To substitute it, first he had to tear "the Messianic Jewish Congregation I" down; and then erect his counterfeit church upon the ruins of the destroyed original temple. It is very revealing to learn how ha satan counterfeits everything Elohim does. It is written in Heb. 4:12: "For the klal (the written, generic) word of Elohim is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Since Elohim cannot feed revelation to a soul which is contaminated, He first needs to sever the soul from the newly born spirit of a believer. Then, He is able to feed revelation to this new believer´s spirit in each area, in each man´s made, church dogma. The believer´s soul proper role should be to await humbly to be instructed by his own revelation-fed spirit.

             Ha satan does the opposite. In this case, he used first a Labrys ax, a type of ax which "refers to division and rendering asunder.."  used by witches, to sever the Jewish soul away from the Jewish spirit of the collective woman called Israel ("the Messianic Jewish Congregation I" of the Rabbi Yeshua). Then, he substituted the Jewish soul with a Gentile one; and, next, he fed this Gentile soul, a.k.a. the Church of the Fathers of the Church, with the venom of anti-Judaism so that it would infect its spirit by contagion, as indeed it has. As we can see from the topic sentence in the prior paragraph, this is exactly the opposite from which Elohim does, which is to feed the spirit with His revelation, once it is severed from our polluted soul. In sum, the Jewish soul disappeared from the Jewish Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua and a Gentile, virulent anti-Jewish soul appeared. Once he had substituted the Jewish soul of the Jewish Congregation and he had turned it into the soul of a Gentile Church, he attacked the remaining main area: the spirit of the Messianic  Congregation. He eliminated the Father, the Ruach ha Kodesh/ "Holy Spirit", and substituted the Jewish Elohim Yeshua the Messiah with a Gentile God, "Jesus," using the now anti-Semitic soul of the Church as his puppet and anti-Semitic apologist.

               His third and ultimate step was to substitute "the hanging-on-the-wooden-cross-bleeding-Gentile-God-Jesus" (which was now only a caricature of the real, Almighty Jewish Messiah, the Orthodox Jewish Rabbi Yeshua) with the Mitraistic Church (the one who worships the Iranian (Persian) "god" sun, Mihr (in Pahlavi), Mitra (in Latin). Thus, his counterfeit church was complete in its three parts (soul, spirit and body) and ready to conquer the earth as the "Christianity" we have today.

                Unless we perceive anti-Semitism as ha satan's major witch's ax against Elohim's children, both the Gentile Church as well as His Jewish children, we will fail to see much of the truth both for today as well as for the next few years (See our article, "The Imminent Polarization of the Church"). For 2,000 years the Elohim of Israel created a holy nation, Israel, and His followers formed what is commonly known as Judaism. When a Part of Himself (See our article on this website, The Truth about the "Trinity") came to earth as the Promised Jewish Messiah, as Yeshua ("Jn." 1:14) , and when later He gave these Messianic Jews their promised "Renewed Covenant"/"N.T." (Jer. 31:31). ha satan tackled his newly created problem with one of his favorite weapons: "divide and conquer." When for the first one hundred years of our era there was a Messianic Jewish movement which was a continuum, a renewal of the 2000-year-old Judaism, albeit on a higher, spiritual plateau, ha satan used anti-Semitism to sever that movement, as we have seen above.

                    Thus, anti-Semitism is the spiritual disease; its symptoms are that we have become totally de-Judaized, totally severed from our original sources; additional symptoms are a new, anti-Semitic religion, called "Christianity" where a Gentile, anti-Jewish God, Jesus Christ, is worshipped, along with his mother and 365 evil spirits disguised as "saints," everyone of these with their own pagan feasts. Going back to our Jewish roots is Elohim's Twentieth Century's spiritual medicine, what we call "the Third Reformation."  There is another point of view, i.e., to perceive anti-Judaism in military terms just like Elohim and ha satan see it in the spiritual realm. Looked at as such, anti-Semitism is the enemy's counter strategy, and "Going back to our Jewish Roots" is Elohim's strategy for our own times and since circa 1970. Elohim wanted all the nations to be led by Israel, His nation. Ha satan's plan is to destroy that nation until even its name is forgotten! "Psalm"/Tehilah/Song of Praise 83:4 quotes ha satan's henchmen as saying: "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation that the name of Israel may be remembered no more." And to this day, many who claim to follow Israel's Messiah are busy trying to fulfill ha satan's wish. Had the Elohim of Israel chosen, say, Switzerland to be His Chosen nation, everyone would hate Switzerland, and the Swiss would have been the most hated people in history! Thus, the answer to the riddle of anti-Semitism lies in the spiritual realm, not in the financial, nor in the political or social realms. Indeed, the worldwide hatred felt by almost everyone against the U.S. and Americans is no mere accident. It is closely related in the spiritual realm to the U.S. physical support of Israel. Had the U.S. not been Israel's "Older Brother" it would not have had the enmity of the whole world as it now has. The perception that the world has of the U.S. is a spiritual matter, not an economic, or a political one, as it is commonly thought. It will be well to remember that it is only the U.S. which stands in the way of the anti-Christ and his Arab allies towards the invasion of Israel, and thus stands in the way of the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and 39 and Rev. 16:16!                  Simply put, then, anti-Semitism is the satanization, the delegitimization of the Jewish People in the eyes of the whole world, but especially in the Church, in moral, economic, psychological, theological, religious, and political matters. Anti-Semitism is the "pariah-ization" of the Jews before the eyes and especially the hearts of the Church and the world. Just as ha satan fooled the first family, he has done the same with the Jewish nation and the Church. He has done it to satanize the Chosen People, as it were; i.e., to "rend asunder" the spirit (the Church) from the soul (the Jewish People) and from the body of Israel (the State of Israel). What this accomplishes is that the Christian Church stays ignorant of its wholly Jewish origin, self-identity and position (See Romans 11:17-18 which gives believers their sole position: grafted into a Jewish tree, not grafted into an imaginary Christian, Gentile tree!) There is no Gentile tree here called "the Church" and a Jewish one over there, at least if we examine and follow Scripture. "And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being an olive tree which is agrielaios, i.e., "from outside of the House (of Israel and Yehudah)", wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee." (emphasis is ours) (KJV is used throughout the whole book, except the words for Hashem, Elohim and Yeshua Messiah, which were restored to their original.) In order to see what has been done to the collective mind and heart of the Church as of circa 95 a.M. when the Gentiles became a majority within the Messianic Jewish Renewed Congregation of the Rabbi Yeshua, we will next examine some of the teachings of the so-called "Church Fathers," teachings which are with us to this day.

THE REAL REASON BEHIND

ANTI-SEMITISM

                  Now, ha satan has robbed the Church of the understanding of its true roots for a very specific purpose. The Jews were the only ones capable of steering the Church away from Mitraistic idol-worship. Someone expressed a beautiful thought regarding the non-relationship between idolatry and being Jewish: "A Jew is born a monotheist and it takes indoctrination to make him an idolater; while, a Gentile is born an idolater and it takes indoctrination to make him a monotheist." But when the Church fell for anti-Semitism, it also fell for idolatry as ha satan had planned. Can you follow his evil blueprint of a scheme? Instead of the simple, two-categories of men, he "just" introduced a third category: "Christian." and the Church has paid attention, because it suited her. Why suffer persecution, after all as a "wretched Jew" or as a despised "idolater" when you can become a clean smelling, nice looking Christian? Speaking of Germany, there was a road sign on pre-war WWII Germany next to a statue of Jesus which read: "Juden sind hier nicht erwunscht," which translates as "Jews are here not welcome" (picture shown at Yad Vashem, Jerusalem, as printed in Jerusalem Perspective Magazine, Issue 51, p. 38.)

               In the theological area, the Jews are accused "of being Christ-killers," and of murdering Christian babies in order to drink their blood for the Jewish Passover, scriptu-rally known as the LORD's feast. The last time this accusation made world news--believe it or not--was in the USSR in 1992, in "demokratic" "Russia" no less. Speaking of Russia: "Russia proper was barred to Jews because of the so-called "judaizing heresy" that at the end of the fourteenth century was felt to be menacing Greek Orthodoxy in Russia. This heresy was in many respects similar to the Reformation in Western Europe: calling for a"return to the sources" of the Old Testament, the heresy was thought especially pernicious just because it kindled some interestin the Moscow court. It was soon suppressed (although religious "dissenters" were to remain a common, if minor, phenomenon in Tsarist Russia for many years) and had the effect of barring Jews from Russia until the nineteenth century." (Carmichael, Joel, “The Devil and the Jews”., p. 76.)

                   Says Joel Carmichael: "The monsterization of the Jews via caricature appeared in Germany during the second half of the fifteenth century. Their physical coalescence with the Devil was established by a series of symbolical and caricature
approximations, beginning with the horns and proceeding through tails and an insidious stench.

The horns seem to have been based on a mistranslation in the Bible: in painting and sculpture Moses always had horns (apparently through a misunderstanding of a word that means "beams" or "rays"), but until the thirteenth century no other biblical figure had them, not even the villains of the gospels, the High Priests Hananiah and Caiphas. This was merged with the pointed Jewish hat as a part of Jewish garb. From then on, Jews were constantly depicted with horns...The physical projection of the Devil coincided with the crystallization of the maleficent, and infinitely powerful, Jews, whom experts, and even ordinary people, could learn to detect beneath the apparently ordinary garb of individual Jews, most of whom in Christian eyeswere quite impoverished--again, of course, only apparently. All the notions about the Devil were absorbed into the legends about the Jews (tails, horns and stench). (SEE PICTURE BELOW) (Carmichael, Joel, op. cit., pp. 71-72.)

                     In the economic area the Jews are accused of being suspiciously rich. In the social area they are charged with being "proud, exclusivists and stateless," the "wandering Jew" theme. Speaking of the social area, there are comical, if they would not be pathetic misin-formation in the media on a daily basis. Let us try a "culture test" for you: What was Einstein's nationality? The media invariably goes either "German," or "naturalized American." And what were the nationalities of famous doctors and discovers of vaccines, like Waksman, (streptomicyn) and the Medicine Nobel Prize winners for 1965, Jacob and Lwoff (French); and for 1970 Katz comes out as a Briton; Axelrod as an American. What nationality are Nobel Prize Winners Paul Samuelson, or Milton Friedman and at least 25 percent of the Nobel Prizes in Physics? American, of course. Charlie Chaplin? Why, British, of course!

               And what about Karl Marx, the founder of Communism? Surprise! We have finally found ourselves a real Jew! The media decides to "forget" he was born in Germany and both his father and himself converted to Lutheranism, and that "his first written work is called 'The Union of the Faithful with Christ'" (Wurmbrand, Richard, Marx and Satan, Crossway Books, 1986, p. 11). “No!” shouts the media, meanwhile it is suffocating the truth: " Marx was a Jew!" A writer whom Christian writer Texe Marrs quotes, has this to say about Marx, in his "subtle" way: "Marx (whose real name was Mordecai, in the tradition of his Rabbinic ancestors) also renamed himself." (Nicola M. Nicolov, The World Conspiracy, 1991, p. 53.) But what did this Jew Marx write? "What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. Who is the god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist...The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general." (Gertrude Himmelfarb, "The Real Marx", Commentary Magazine, April 1985, p. 39.) Hitler would not have been able to say it any better! But, remember, "Marx was a Jew," unlike most of the scientists, Hollywood actors, Nobel Prize winners, who are called "American." In the historical area the Jews are called "parasites and exploiters of the common worker." Various Christian writers delving into the anti-Christ theme have come up with the Jews as the "owners of the world" by which they mean the "Jewish" family of the Rockefellers! (In various parts of the world, the Nazi lie that President Roosevelt was also Jewish still holds true.) In the moral area they are called "usurers and greedy". When the Black Plague came in 1345 the Jews were charged with poisoning the waters of Europe, just because they happened to take a bath more often than Christians, thus avoiding the plague. By the way, not eating pork, or rats, and keeping the hygiene laws of Torah helped them to avoid the diseases which afflicted the non-Jews, who did not keep Torah. This might be a good reminder to us that the Torah is still useful even today! Throughout Europe and throughout European history, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox priests were leading their "Kristian" town mob into conducting pogroms against the Jewish population with a cross high up in their hands, all "in the name of Christ"

                    Michael L. Brown wrote: "This is a typical account: April, 26, 1343. A ritual murder accusation is raised against the Jews of Germersheim, Germany. Thereupon, the town's whole Jewish community is burned at the stake." And: "In Central Eastern Europe, among both Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox Christians...there are almost more examples of the accusation (of ritual murder) between 1880 and 1945 than in the whole of the Middle Ages."(Dr. Brown, op. cit, p. 62.)

A COMPARISON BETWEEN THE "CHURCH FATHERS'TEACHINGS WITH HOLY   SCRIPTURE TEACHINGS

                Let us compare what the so-called "Church fathers" taught with what Holy Scripture teaches us regarding the Jews. The former is "man's commandments"; the latter is Elohim's Holy Word. Which one should weigh more in our doctrine? Which
one has weighted more? You draw you own conclusions.

                CHURCH FATHERS´ TEACHING: "In Dialogue with Trypho, a Jew, " Justin Martyr emphasized that what was of old and had belonged to Israel was now the property of Christians. The Jewish Scripturew ere a central part of this transference. They are ´not yours but ours,´ Justin stated emphatically to Trypho." That is, the Church has replaced Israel as God´s children and God´s People. (Wilson, op. cit. p. 89)             Justin Martyr

                    Holy Scripture Teaching: "I say then, hath Elohim cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Elohim hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the Scripture saith of Eliahu? How he maketh intercession to Elohim against Israel, saying, Adonai/Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars: and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of Elohim unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this
present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." (Rom. 11:1-5)

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Jerome (author of the Latin Vulgata translation used by the Roman Catholic Church) and Augustine called the Jews "accursed by God." (Wilson, Marvin, Our Father Abraham, Eerdmans publishers, 1989, p- 94.)

                Holy Scripture Teaching: calls Jews "of whom are the adoption (as sons of Elohim), the (six) covenants…the Messiah (Yeshua)…" (Rom. 9:4)

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Ignatius, third bishop of Antioch, said that "Christianity did not base its faith on Judaism; but Judaism on Christianity." (That is the same as saying that the daughter gave birth to her mother!)

                     Holy Scripture Teaching: It also says in Rom. 11:18: "Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee." (emphasis ours) Thus, Holy Scripture clearly says the opposite of what Ignatius, another "saintly" "Church father" taught: Scripture tells us that it is the root (Judaism) which bears the branches (the ingrafted former Gentiles/idolaters into the Jewish tree). There is no Gentile, imaginary tree here and a Jewish tree there—not according to Scripture (see Rom. 11:17)!

                  CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: The widely popular Epistle of Barnabas says that "the covenant is not both theirs (the Jews) and ours (the Christians); it is ours".

                Holy Scripture Teaching: Both in Yeremiahu/"Jer." 31:31 and Heb. 8:8 affirm that the Renewed Covenant/"N.T." was made "with the House/Followers of Israel and the House/Followers of Yehudah," not with the Gentile Church!

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: "In 339 a.d., it was considered a criminal offense to convert to Judaism. This is the legacy of our so-called ´Church fathers.´"

                  Holy Scripture Teaching: Through the Rabbi Shaul in Eph. 2:11-12: "Wherefore remember, that ye being time past Gentiles…That at that time…being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel…" The word used here in Greek is politeias, which
means "citizenship." In other words, these two key verses teach the opposite of what our "Church fathers" taught: That those who come to the Elohim of Israel and the Messiah of Israel: 1) cease being Gentiles, i.e., idolaters/Goim ("ye being past
Gentiles…"); and, 2) they become "citizens of Israel," i.e., Israelis!

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Ambrose, bishop of Milan, Italy, "praised the burning of a synagogue, as an act pleasing to God."

              Holy Scripture Teaching: Reaffirmed in Phil. 3:3 what the Rabbi Shaul stated in Eph. 2:11-12: "For we are the circumcision (i.e., the Jews), which worship Elohim in the spirit, and rejoice in Messiah Yeshua, and have no confidence in the flesh." What
this underrated verse simply says is awesome: It defines who are Jews and who are not! And, who are Jews? Those who "worship Elohim in the spirit, and rejoice in Messiah Yeshua." Now, the non-Renewed, non-Messianic Jews do worship Hashem, but they certainly not "rejoice in Messiah Yeshua" so this verse must be speaking about somebody else: the "Christians"! This verse says that those who worship both are "the circumcision," i.e., an euphemism to say "the Jews." Then, how can the burning of a Jewish synagogue be "pleasing to God"???!!!

                   CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Eusebius called Abraham "an early Christian."

                  Holy Scripture Teaching: Calls Avraham "the Hebrew" in "Gen." 14:13:; and believers in general it calls "Jews" in Eph. 2:11-12; Phil. 3:3, and in Rom. 2:29:

                  Holy Scripture Teaching: "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Elohim."

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Eusebius also called Jews: ".they are lustful, rapacious, greedy, perfidious bandits...murderers, destroyers, men possessed by the devil."

               Holy Scripture Teaching: Calls them "of which are the adoption, the glory, and the covenants…and of whom came the Messiah". Holy Scripture Teaching: Also calls them in Rom. 3:1: "What advantage then hath the Jew? Or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every day; because that unto them were committed the oracles of Elohim." The word"oracles" in Greek is logia, which, according to Thayer's Lexicon, p. 379, is Strong # 3051 meaning "utterance of God." Elohim says, then, that the Jews have "the utterances of Elohim" given unto them.

                      CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Tertullian and Origen called the Jews "Christ killers" and "deiciders." (God-killers).

                     Holy Scripture Teaching: The Jewish Rabbi Yeshua said: "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" Simply put (by Elohim Himself): Can you kill God?

                    CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: The most influential Roman Catholic theologian, Augustine, called Jews "sons of Satan." Augustine was highly influenced by Marcion, a heretic who called ADONAI "an evil god" and who claimed He was not the Father of the Rabbi Yeshua.

                    Holy Scripture Teaching: Has this to say about them: "…but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. For the gifts and calling of Elohim are without repentance." Other versions say "the gifts and calling of Elohim are irrevocable," i.e., they cannot be taken back.

                   Holy Scripture Teaching: And what were they called, hundreds of times in Scripture? "God's Chosen People"("Dt." 14:2;1 Chron. 16:13; Is. 44:1.) !

                  CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: The so-called "Church fathers" taught us that: "In addition, the position of the Church was that it had replaced Israel. No longer a remnant within Israel, it had become a separate gentile body." (Wilson, op. cit. p. 96)

                  Holy Scripture Teaching: On the contrary, Scripture tells us in three unequivocal verses that those Gentiles who accept the Elohim of Israel and the Messiah of Israel become Jews and Israelis (Eph. 2:11-12; Phil. 3:3; Rom. 2:28-29). In two
additional verses it tells the definition of Gentiles: idolaters (1 Cor. 12:2; 1st Thess. 1:9). And in one verse it tells the Church its sole place, where it should position itself (Rom. 11:17) engrafted into a Jewish tree! There is no "Gentile tree" here and a Jewish
one over there!

                    CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Our "father" Luther said: "The rabbis should be forbidden to continue teaching the Law."

                    Holy Scripture Teaching: Says, to the contrary: "Wherefore the Torah is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good." (Rom. 7:12) If, as Rabbi Shaul says, the Torah is "holy, and the commandment holy, and just and good,"
obviously their teaching should be encouraged.

                  Holy Scripture Teaching: Indeed, the Rabbi Yeshua Himself says so to His disciples: "All therefore whatsoever they ("the scribes and the Pharisees" of v. 2) bid you observe, that observe and do…"

                 CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Our "father" Luther said: "Luther now thought what had accused Catholics of thinking in 1523: Jews were dogs."

                   Holy Scripture Teaching: Calls Gentiles, i.e., idolaters: "The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Yeshua said unto her, Let the children first be filled; for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs." Who are the dogs here? The non-Jews, the Gentiles, obviously, not the Jews! Holy Scripture Teaching: This is repeated in Rev. 22:15: "For without aredogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie." Who are to be left outside of the Renewed Jerusalem? The Goim, the Gentiles, not the Jews!

                       CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING:  Christian author Luisa de Walker includes Judaism among the cults, like Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses!

                      Holy Scripture Teaching: As we have seen, calls the Jews "the Chosen People." Holy Scripture Teaching: Says in "Dt." 6:4: "Hear, Israel, ADONAI our Elohim, is One/Shema Israel, Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad." Thus, HolyScripture affirms
the Unity of Elohim; not the Trinity. (See our article, The Truth about the Trinity.) Religions which worship any other "god" other than the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one Elohim in three Parts, are the real cults.

                   To believe, as Christianity does, in three Gods-in-One, while worshipping the Gentile God, Jesus Christ, and thus displacing Hashem, Elohim the Father; a religion which teaches that the Commandments are done away with; which breaks the second Commandment (not to make images) and the fourth Commandment (shabbat), makes it a cult.

                        CHURCH FATHERS' TEACHING: Christian author Schnoebelen says it is "the woman," i.e., backslidden Israel" which has introduced "false doctrine" into the Roman Catholic, the Orthodox and into the Protestant Church.

                     Holy Scripture Teaching: Says "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that anomias=who do not comply with the Torah." (Mtt. 7:23) Holy Scripture Teaching: "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." (Mtt. 5:19) Holy Scripture Teaching: Who is introducing "false doctrine" into the Church, teaching that the "law is for the Jews"? Is it, perchance, "backslidden Israel," or is it the Gentile Church?

                    Holy Scripture Teaching: Who is introducing "false doctrine" into the Church teaching that "we are under grace; the dispensation of the law has passed away"? Is it "backslidden Israel"? Or is it the Gentile Church?

                       GENTILES ARE NO LONGER THAT, BUT JEWS

                     Nor does the Gentile Church understand, as we have pointed already, that "Christians" who come to faith in the Elohim of Israel and in the Messiah of Israel become Jews as per Ephesians 2:11-12, Philippians 3:3, and Romans 2:28-29.
Christians do not understand either that according to Scripture as they come to know the Jewish Elohim and theJewish Messiah they cease being Gentiles, a word translated into Hebrew as Goyim, i.e., idolaters and also idolatrous nations. This is not our
own definition but the Rabbi Shaul's in 1 Cor. 12:2.  "Ye know that ye WERE Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye WERE led." (emphasis ours). And in 1st Thess. 1:9: "For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how YE TURNED TO ELOHIM FROM IDOLS to serve the living and true Elohim ." (emphasis is ours). Notice here the past tense. "…ye were Gentiles carried away unto these dumb idols…"; and "ye turned to Elohim from idols."

                   There are two key concepts within these simple but very profound nine words from Elohim: First, that those who were Gentiles are no longer that when they accept the Elohim of Israel and the Messiah of Israel; and, second, that a Gentile is
one who worships "dumb idols." The obverse should also be true: if you are not an idol worshipper, you are no longer a Gentile; and if you are a worshiper of Hashem and His Son the Rabbi Yeshua, you are a spiritual Jew by faith, whether you want it or not, whether you accept it or not. Webster's New World's Dictionary corroborates all of this by defining the word "Gentile" on page 312: "1. any person not a Jew." It is as simple as that: either you are a Yehudih/"Jew" a Hebrew word deriving from the Hebrew word "hod," meaning "glory" and the initial letter of ADONAI, the "Y"; either you are a "ADONAI glorifier" or you are not a "glorifier of Hashem" in which case you are an idol glorifier!

                    See how simple Elohim made it? The devil, instead, deceived believers and complicated things by coining the words "pagan," "heathen," in contradistinction to "Christian." Now, there were three categories, instead of the Elohim-given two!

                    Semantically, at least, the devil makes you feel good by being neither a Jew nor an idol worshipper, but a "Christian." I hope believers realize how potent this semantic weapon has become in the hands of ha satan. (See our article, "Jesus was a Good Christian Boy Who Went to Church every Sunday"???.) When you let him play with the words you use, you let him play with your own mind, you allow him to brainwash you! Brainwashing is a systematic, scientific methodology to confuse you, to "make you lose your bearings" so that in the end you do not understand anything any more. This confusion creates a clean slate for the devil to write on. The evil spirit purrs into your ears: "See? You are neither a Jew nor an idolater." (This is the clean slate principle working). He goes on:" You are a Christian" (This is the new definition being written inside your mind's slate!) "Does it not feel much better now?" the evil spirit murmurs inside your mind. "You don't need to become an accursed Jew nor a pagan/heathen; you are now a Christian." Presto! The de-Judaizing process is over for you. "Let us get on
with our business with somebody else, " muses the evil spirit to himself.

      THE INTERNAL DEMONIZATION OF EVERYTHING JEWISH

                Parallel to the external demonization campaign there were an inner demoniz-ation campaign being conducted inside Scripture and theology itself. Let us look at a few examples of that demonization. First, the Church was robbed of its true self-identity as the Jewish spirit of the collective woman called Israel. In Romans 11:16-25, Rav Sha'ul (whose Roman name was Paul) paints a very graphic picture of the true position of the Church in terms of a tree, what some Christian Zionists, Hebrew Christians and Messianic Jews have come to call "the Olive Tree Theology." The roots of the tree and the trunk and
some of its branches are the Jewish People. Most of its branches are the large number of followers of the Rabbi Yeshua who are Gentile by birth but who have become Jews by faith, engrafted (Eph. 2:11-12; Phil. 3:3, Rom. 2:28-29) , whether they wish
it or not, whether they accept this or not, since this is a spiritual identity, not a physical one. This gives us, believers, our only allowed-by-God self-identity. If we follow Scripture we would reach to the conclusion that there are no other options: The Church should necessarily be grafted into the Jewish tree of Romans 11:17. Thus, she will have achieved the position which Elohim indicates for her.. This gives us our Elohim-given position. If we are not occupying that position now, both as church as well as individual believers, we should ask Elohim to point to us the importance of fulfilling this instruction from Elohim. There is nothing which Elohim has written regarding the Church and Israel which does not have its importance.

                   Second, the Church was made unaware on purpose that the Renewed Covenant of Yirmiahu/"Jer." 31:31-33 was not made with the Gentile Church but with "the House of Israel and the House of Judah", i.e., with the same group of people, the
Jewish People, and with the same nation, Israel, with whom the Mosaic Covenant was made.

                       Third, there are clear examples of de-Judaization of both Scripture and Christian theology. One example is the change of name of the Renewed Covenant/ "New Testament" book of "James". In the Greek it is called "Iakoboy", i.e., "Jacob." First of all, the name "Jacob" exists in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Indonesian, Arabic, and many other European and non-European languages of the world. Why did some translators feel free to change what was obviously "Jacob" into "James"? Historically, we learn it was to honor King James I of England. They changed it in Spanish, too, into "San/'Saint' Tiago." Second, the Rabbi Yeshua's brother was called "Jacob" in Scripture, not "James" in Mtt. 13:55; Mk. 6:3; "Jn. 7:3-5; 1st Cor. 15:7; Acts 1:14;15:13-21 and 21:18; and in Gal. 1:19. How did we dare to change a Holy Scripture book's name and to
continue in this error without anyone saying anything about it for nineteen centuries?! It makes one wonder how "holy" we really believe it is.

                      Another example of de-Judaization occurs with the name of "Jesus." The personal, true name of Israel's Messiah is Yeshua, which means "ADONAI is Salvation/ Deliverance/Victory" from Y  =(ADONAI) and Yshuah=salvation/ deliverance/
victory (Ben-Yehudah Hebrew-English Dictionary, Pocket Books, 1961, p. 123; and Vine's Dictionary of Greek Scriptural Terms, Vol. 3, p. 316. ) The normal transliteration of the name into English would be Joshuah. So why did they change it to "Jesus" instead of Joshuah? Better still, why not reverently leave Elohim's name alone as we should have?

                         There is an additional de-Judaization campaign with regards Elohim the Father, and Yeshua Elohim the Son. Marcion, the heretic, as we said above,  took the position that the god of the "Old Testament" and the Jews, was not really Elohim, but an evil demon, and certainly not the God of the "New Testament." From Marcion's time , "saint" Augustine took Marcion´s teachings and spread it all over the Roman Catholic world.  Marcion´s spirit and his attitude has lived on in Christian theology, permeating almost every facet of it, from our attitude regarding the Tanak (the "Old Testament") to our perception of Hashem. Thus, Elohim the Father as very strict, stern and vengeful God, while the Gentile God, Jesus, as "a God of love." The anti-Judaic spirit of Marcion is living and hovers over the ideosphere of the Gentile Church right this minute infecting everything it touches! It was Marcion, by the way, who mutilated the Renewed Covenant/"N.T." and took off anything "Jewish," leaving only Luke's Gospel, the only "Aryan" writer, supposedly. It was precisely because of Marcion's tampering with the N.T. that the Church was forced to come up with a canon, (Gr. for measuring "rod"), i.e., a precise number of books in the N.T. in a certain order.

               But who can tell for sure how many Marcian mutilations remain there? Let me give you an example. Suppose for a minute, you are Yochanan, the son of a Jewish Priest/Kohen in the Temple (Lk. 1:5). Could you, the Jewish son of a Jewish Kohen write, as it is written in Yochanan/"Jn." 6:4: "Now was near the Passover, the feast of the Jews." Can you, being an American Christian say: "It was near Thanksgiving, the feast of the Americans"? Of course not! It is only a self-deluded, uprooted Gentile Church who could swallow such a funny-tasting pill of a verse without noticing anything being amiss!

             We just found another two suspicious verses. It is written in Yochanan/Jn. 8:17: "It is also written in YOUR Torah, that the testimony of two men is true." Again, can you, as an American, say something like "It is written in YOUR American Constitution."? If you are an Uruguayan, like myself, it would be appropiate and O.K. to say such a thing, but not for an American.

              Again, in Yochanan 4:25 it is written: "The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things." (KJV). (emphasis is ours) Now, an interlinear version has the words "which is called
Christ" between parentheses, and adds the following footnote: "…In both instances it is parenthetically translated by the Greek form Xristos, Christ, Anointed One."1 According to Webster´s New World Dictionary, p. 541 says of the word "parenthetical": "placed within parenthesis. 2. Giving qualifying information or explanation." In sum, "(which is called Christ)" has been added by some scribe! On the other hand, if this is not an addition by a scribe, it makes less no sense at all. Let us read it again: "I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ, i.e., Messias"! Notice that the word Messias, or Messiah is the English translation of the Hebrew word Mashiach, and so is "Christ"!

                There are some additions, hundreds of omissions, and between 5,000 and 8,000 variations in the 5,366 existing Greek manuscripts, just like there were pointed out by at least two writers, Ms. Gail Riplinger and Mr. Barry Burton in their books, New Age Bible Versions, and Let´s Weigh the Evidence, respectively.

                (In Spanish the additions made to Scripture are many more! For instance, from 1909 to 1995 the by far most used version (Reina-Valera) had changed the thousands of times the word "Sabbath"appears into "the day of rest," so that Spanish-speaking believers could mentally read "Sunday." The translation into Spanish of Psalm 121, for instance, which consists of only eight verses, has fourteen mistakes! Still, biblical institutes teach would-be pastors that "the translations have a margin of error of less than 0,01 percent. The actual percentage in Spanish of the translation of the Tanak/"O.T." is closer to 40 percent!)

             There is still this feeling-as-theology that the God of the Jews is a God of vengeance and of wars, "their" God, and an attitude of "let them keep Him". Coupled with it is the feeling that Jesus is the Gentile God, "our" God, a God of love. So, there is a "Jewish" God, on the one hand; and a "Gentile" God, Jesus, to whom the Church gives almost exclusive worship, to the near-exclusion of the Father, and (only in the non-Pentecostal churches) of the Holy Spirit too. As an added result of the latter, we have departed from the God-given order within the Trinity ("in the name of the 1) Father, 2) the Son, 3) and the Holy Ghost") to a Gentile Christ-centered paradigm, leaving aside Elohim the Father, in practice if not in theory. (Check and see how many songs are being sung in your church to the Father as compared to Jesus and you will see what we mean.)

                 A sixth example of the pariahization of Israel is the name "Palestine". Elohim gave Avraham the land of Canaan and He called it "Israel." He calls Himself "the Elohim of Israel" in hundreds of verses (In Strong's Concordance, it takes seven pages with three columns each to list the times it says "Elohim of Israel." ) and never once calls Himself "the God of Palestine." The Roman Emperor Hadrian swore to stamp out the name of Israel from the face of the earth. And the Church has inadvertently done its share to carry out Hadrian's wish. Famous Christian authors and Bible maps still refer to the area as
"Palestine"--except non-Christian writers! It is indeed incredible if we consider how many years have elapsed since the State of Israel was resurrected from the dead, fifty years this year. How ha satan must hate the name of Israel and love that name Palestine/Plishtim/Philistines, the eternal enemies of Elohim's People! We, the followers of the Elohim of Israel and of His Messiah are going against His wishes when we follow his subtle suggestions. (The latest slap in the face of Elohim is to call the Rabbi Yeshua "a "Palestinian" and I never heard any Christian complaining about it!)

                   A seventh example of de-Judaization occurs also in names. Almost all of the names of the Jewish characters and places of the N.T. Scriptures have been "Gentilized" in translation. For instance, Mattityahu Levi is transformed into the Catholic "Saint Matthew." Yohannan the Immerser in water is "Saint John the Baptist;" Jacob Ben Khalfai is "Saint James"; Yohannan Ben Zabdiah is--presto-changed-into--"John the Evangelist"; etc., etc. It should be apparent that names are very important to ha satan. Otherwise, why did he make such an effort to change them?

                    The eighth example of de-Judaization in Scripture has to do with the so-called Jewish Feasts. Elohim left the believers in the Elohim of Israel and the Messiah of Israel eight major annual holidays divided into three major festival seasons, with which to honor Elohim the Son, Elohim the Holy Spirit, and Elohim the Father, in that order. "Leviticus" 23 provides a brief handbook of those holidays. On Passover/PEH-sach Yeshua died for us so that we could live with Him inside us; on Pentecost/Shavu'ot our empty hearts were filled with the Holy Spirit; all of this to ready us to be in the wonderful Presence of Elohim the Father, as symbolized in Sukkot/Tabernacles).

                     But ha satan has convinced most Christians that these feasts are "for the Jews." This deception has robbed the Church of the blessings and cursed her ("Ex." 20:4-5) with pagan celebrations. Christmas, for example, began as a birthday party for Mihr/ "Mithra, the sun "god". It is mentioned nowhere in Scripture but is commemorated by the Church to this day. (It is a feast to the spirit to see and hear that more and more pastors all over the world are waking up to the satanic origin of Xmas and to the need for the Church to get away from every non-Scriptural ceremony.)

                      Our ninth and last example has to do with the "Old" Covenant. The Church has allowed ha satan to convince people that the so-called "Old" Covenant is no longer in force, including all or some of the Ten Commandments, "which are for the Jews." Since the "Old" Covenant is no longer in force why read it, or study or quote it? (However, clergymen do use the Tanach [the "Old" Covenant] whenever it fits their purpose, such as for commanding tithing, to support the Theology of Prosperity, to quote from the "Psalms," etc.) Thus, the Church has discarded-- in practice, if not in theory--78 percent of Holy
Scripture! And they are using which, in effect, is a mutilation of Scripture, i.e., only 22 percent of it, the N.T.! (What would YOU call a human body which has no torso and no head?) Contained also in the Tanach are the precious names of Elohim, whose translations have mishandled Him and labeled Him "LORD", or even "Lord," thus erasing all of their precious, individual, Elohim-given meanings!

            As we have seen, the Church has allowed ha satan almost free reign in his relentless efforts to demonize everything Jewish. She has become so cut off from its true, Elohim-given roots that those roots are rejected by nearly everyone and hardly discoverable any longer. Repentance from this anti-Semitism within the Church would clear the way for so many more of Elohim's blessings to the Church in these so-very special times, at only "minutes" away from the Second Coming of  Yeshua! May Elohim grant us all the vision and the wisdom to search for the Church's true roots before He comes back.
